Dave and Cadence's story started with a chance encounter that neither of them saw coming! They met while Cadence was in Scottsdale for a friend's bachelorette party. Dave had been living there for work, and the two crossed paths one night at a bar. Just a few weeks later, Dave flew Cadence back out to Scottsdale because he couldn’t wait to see her again—and the rest is history. Now, they are happily living in Chicago.

With Dave from Minnesota and Cadence from Chicago, they decided to meet in the somewhere in the middle for their wedding. They chose The Hidden Acre in Waverly, Iowa—a beautiful central location that made travel easier for both sides of the family.

Dave and Cadence are a relaxed and easygoing couple who love sports, traveling, and spending time with their families. When it comes to their wedding, they envisioned a classic modern vibe—elegant black and white with just a touch of greenery for a fresh, timeless look.
