Outdoor Fall Wedding at Diamond Oak Events | Dylan + Sierra

Dylan and Sierra’s love story began way back in high school, and after five years together, their bond is stronger than ever. Though they went to different colleges, they eventually moved back to their hometown of Mason City, where their relationship continued to grow.

On a family vacation to the Black Hills, Dylan woke up early to ask her parents for her hand. He proposed to Sierra in a beautiful spot in Custer State Park, with her family and grandma there to witness the moment. It was a perfect start to their next chapter!

Sierra, a NICU nurse, and Dylan, a landscaping business owner, have built a busy yet fulfilling life together, sharing their love of sports, travel, and outdoor adventures. They enjoy weekend getaways to their family cabin at Leech Lake and love simple pleasures like Mexican food, ice cream runs, and spending time with their two dogs.

They chose the gorgeous Diamond Oak Events in Clear Lake, Iowa as the location to start their happily ever after. With many scenic views of tall oak trees, a praire grass field with a pond and the stunning white barn, there was beauty all around. Add in the fact that it was a warm October day, the fall colors were popping everywhere. They had a sweet outdoor ceremony amongst the trees followed by a fun ride around on the party bus and ending the night dancing with all their friends and family.
